Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This privacy policy explains how The Body Intelligence Framework ("we", "us") handles your personal data when you use thebodyintelligenceframework.com. We process your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).
Who is responsible for your data
The Body Intelligence Framework is operated from the Netherlands by Agaath Zondervan. For any questions about your data, contact us at hello@thebodyintelligenceframework.com.
What data we collect, and why
- Newsletter (Body Intelligence Weekly): your email address, so we can send you the weekly newsletter you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent.
- Free downloads (Soul Snacks, guides): your first name and email address, so we can deliver the download and send related follow-up emails. Legal basis: your consent.
- Body Intelligence Test: your score, profile, and dimension scores are used without your name or email address for aggregate statistics. If you provide your email address after seeing the result, we also store your score and profile with your subscription so we can send your result and related follow-up emails. We do not store free-text health information. Legal basis: your consent.
- Website use: we count page views and funnel steps together with the page path, referring domain, and any UTM campaign codes. This measurement uses no tracking cookie or persistent visitor ID and stores no IP address, name, email address, or test answer.
- The Body Intelligence Reset (purchase): your name, email address, and payment confirmation. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Your progress in the programme: if you bought the Reset and work while signed in, we store what you enter in the app: which days you completed, your test result, and what you write in the journal fields. This sits on our own server, under an encrypted reference to your email address rather than the address itself. Why: so your work does not disappear when you switch phones or clear your browser. The admin overview shows only how far along you are, never what you wrote. If you look without signing in, you leave nothing behind. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- "Ask Agaath" chat: the questions you type, to generate an answer. Please do not share medical or other sensitive details in the chat.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically logs IP addresses and page requests for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not send spam: every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share data with
We only share data with services needed to run the site: our hosting provider Strato, MailerLite while the existing email sequences remain active there, and Stripe for payments. We are also preparing an email system on our own Strato server; during the transition a subscription may be present in both systems. We never sell your data.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain only what is needed to honour that choice and prevent accidental resubscription. Aggregate funnel data is kept without a personal profile. Purchase records are kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. We keep your progress in the programme for as long as you have access, and for one year after that, so you can come back without starting over. Want it gone sooner? Let us know and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@thebodyintelligenceframework.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the newsletter.
